A negative for me is procrastination. I try to steer away or avoid hard assignments at school. If I feel like I can’t do the assignment, I won’t do it. This action of mine led me to do Summer School two years in a row, freshman and sophomore year. Although summer school was fun, I learned better than I did the previous school year, and I met a lot more people. But it was still summer school, just the thought of it is stupid. If school was devoted to “in class” work kids/teens would feel a better joy in going to school, and everybody won’t feel so tired at school from late night homework and stress.
A positive of this action is more free time to do what I want, hangout with friends more, workout, and search future careers and/or hobbies. This school year as a junior, my procrastination has gone down because of the fact that this year has been the easiest year for me and I’m passing every class so far, which is very awesome on my part, and my parents and counselor are happy for me.
